Ophelia was a very beautiful girl who got caught in between her love for her father and her love for her boyfriend Hamlet. Ophelia always obeyed her father so when he told her to stay way from Hamlet she did so doing what she thought was right although It affected her. Ophelia was not allowed to make many of her own decisions and had to hold back on things she wanted for herself in life. I think the departure of Hamlet torn Ophelia apart with the reason of being forced to leave him alone and then having to spy on him because her dad instructed her to.
As we all know the fact that Hamlet said he didnt love Ophelia  broke her heart as she sings a song about a maiden who is tricked into losing her virginity with a false promise of marriage. Ophelia father then dies which stopped her from being able to  function normally. Ophelia then begins to go crazy for as she no longer had no self control of herself. I am here today to suggest that Ophelia is buried in honor and recieves the respect that she did not recieve when she was alive. I dont think that her death was suicidal in my opinion she fell in the water and had no control of saving herself because her mind was so mentally tormented.
